Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Dude Technologies Inc. governing your use of the Dude app and websites (the “Service”). By downloading the app from Google Play, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. When you create an account, you must actively accept these Terms — for example, by selecting “I agree” during sign-up — before you can register or upload any content. If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not use the Service. Your use of the Service is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

Dude is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. The Service is intended exclusively for consenting adults. By using Dude, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18, that you can form a binding contract, and that you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction. We may use verification measures to confirm age. Any account found to belong to a minor will be suspended or permanently removed.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping it secure. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach.

You agree to use the Service respectfully and lawfully, and in accordance with our Community Guidelines and our Child Safety Standards. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users and for the content you share. Treat others with dignity and consent, and use good judgment when connecting with people you meet through the Service.

When using the Service, you must not:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other users.
• Post hateful, illegal, or non-consensual content.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or age.
• Solicit money, engage in fraud, or promote scams.
• Share content involving minors or any illegal activity.
• Distribute spam, malware, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• Collect or harvest other users’ data without consent.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written permission.

To keep the community safe and to comply with Google Play’s Developer Program Policies, we actively moderate the Service. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to:

• Review, restrict, or remove any content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
• Suspend, limit, or restrict access to accounts involved in violations while we investigate.
• Permanently ban repeat offenders and users who engage in serious or unlawful conduct.
• Preserve records and cooperate with law enforcement, courts, or other legal authorities where required by law or valid legal process.
• Report content involving the exploitation of minors to the appropriate authorities, consistent with our Child Safety Standards.

We are not obligated to monitor all content, and moderation actions do not waive any of our rights. Enforcement decisions may result in the loss of access to the Service and any associated coins or paid features, as described in these Terms. If you believe an action was taken in error, you may contact us using the details below.

Some features of the Service are paid. Dude uses a virtual currency called “coins” that you may choose to buy within the app to access certain features, such as starting a video connection. You will always see the coin pack and its price before you buy, and a purchase is only completed with your explicit consent.

All in-app purchases of digital items, including coins, are processed exclusively through Google Play’s in-app billing system. When you make a purchase, Google Play charges the payment method associated with your Google account and processes the transaction under the Google Play Terms of Service. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. By confirming a purchase, you authorize Google Play to charge your selected payment method for the amount shown.

Coins are a prepaid, in-app virtual currency with no monetary value that can only be used inside the Dude app. By purchasing coins, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are buying coins voluntarily and with your explicit, informed consent at the time of purchase.
• Refunds for purchases made through Google Play are handled in accordance with the Google Play refund policy. To request a refund, submit a request through Google Play. We will also honor any refund required by applicable consumer-protection law. Aside from these cases, coins are generally non-refundable once a purchase is completed and the coins have been delivered to your account.
• Coins are consumed when you use paid features and are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash.
• Coins do not expire while your account remains active and in good standing. If required by applicable law, any different expiry terms will be clearly disclosed to you at the time of purchase.
• Coin balances are tied to your account and may be forfeited if your account is suspended or terminated for violating these Terms.
• We may change coin pricing or packs at any time; changes apply only to future purchases and never to coins you already own.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time — from within the app or by following the steps on our Account & Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, if required by law, or to protect the safety of our community. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, though certain provisions survive termination.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not conduct criminal background checks and cannot guarantee the conduct or identity of any user. You are responsible for taking reasonable precautions when interacting with others.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dude and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
