Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Dude Technologies Inc. governing your use of the Dude app and websites (the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Service. The Service is intended exclusively for consenting adults. By using Dude, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18, that you can form a binding contract, and that you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction. We may use verification measures and will terminate accounts we believe belong to minors.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping it secure. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach.

You agree to use the Service respectfully and lawfully, and in accordance with our Community Guidelines. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users and for the content you share. Treat others with dignity and consent, and use good judgment when connecting with people you meet through the Service.

When using the Service, you must not:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other users.
• Post hateful, illegal, or non-consensual content.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or age.
• Solicit money, engage in fraud, or promote scams.
• Share content involving minors or any illegal activity.
• Distribute spam, malware, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• Collect or harvest other users’ data without consent.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written permission.

Some features of the Service are paid. Dude uses a virtual currency called “coins” that you may choose to buy within the app to access certain features, such as starting a video connection. You will always see the coin pack and its price before you buy, and a purchase is only completed with your explicit consent. Payments are processed through the applicable app store or a third-party payment provider, and you authorize us and those providers to charge your selected payment method for the purchases you confirm.

Coins are a prepaid, in-app virtual currency with no monetary value that can only be used inside the Dude app. By purchasing coins, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are buying coins voluntarily and with your explicit, informed consent at the time of purchase.
• All coin purchases are final and non-refundable. We do not provide refunds for coins once a purchase is completed, except where a refund is required by applicable law or by the rules of the app store through which you made the purchase.
• Coins are consumed when you use paid features and are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash.
• Coin balances are tied to your account and may be forfeited if your account is terminated for violating these Terms.
• We may change coin pricing or packs at any time; changes apply only to future purchases and never to coins you already own.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, if required by law, or to protect the safety of our community. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, though certain provisions survive termination.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not conduct criminal background checks and cannot guarantee the conduct or identity of any user. You are responsible for taking reasonable precautions when interacting with others.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dude and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
