Our Commitment to Child Safety
Dude is an adults-only service, and we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for any content or conduct that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors. These Child Safety Standards describe how we work to prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE on our platform, consistent with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.
Zero-Tolerance Policy
The following are strictly prohibited and result in immediate removal and reporting:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
- Sexualization of minors, including in text, images, video, or avatars.
- Grooming, enticement, sextortion, or solicitation of a minor.
- Trafficking, endangerment, or any exploitation of a child.
- Attempting to use the Service while under 18, or enabling a minor to access it.
Adults-Only Access
The Service is intended solely for adults aged 18 and older. Users must confirm they are at least 18 to create an account, and we may apply additional age-verification measures. We remove any account we reasonably believe belongs to a person under 18, and we do not knowingly allow minors on the platform.
How We Prevent & Detect Abuse
We combine technology and human review to keep minors off the platform and to catch abuse:
- Age confirmation and verification signals at sign-up and during use.
- Proactive and reactive moderation of profiles, media, and live interactions.
- Detection tooling to help identify and block known CSAM and abusive behavior.
- Easy in-app reporting and blocking on every profile, message, and call.
- Prompt review of reports by a trained safety team.
How to Report a Concern
If you encounter content or behavior that may harm a child, report it to us immediately so we can act:
- Use the Report option on any profile, message, or call in the app.
- Email our child-safety team at childsafety@dudesocial.in.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement or emergency services first, then report to us so we can take action on the platform.
How We Respond & Report to Authorities
When we identify CSAE, we act quickly and decisively:
- We remove the offending content and permanently ban the responsible accounts.
- We preserve relevant evidence as required by law.
- We report apparent child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or local law enforcement, in line with legal obligations in the jurisdictions we operate in.
- We cooperate with valid law-enforcement requests and investigations.
Child Safety Point of Contact
We maintain a dedicated point of contact for child-safety matters and for regulators and safety organizations:
- Child-safety team: childsafety@dudesocial.in
- Legal: legal@dudesocial.in
- Mail: Dude Technologies Inc., 5th Floor, Prestige Atrium, MG Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560001, India
These Standards work alongside our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use. We review and update them as our platform and legal obligations evolve.
